Poole (9 km) Poole is a popular fishing town with a splendid quay and many shops including fish restaurants. This vibrant town is a main ferry port gateway to Jersey, Guernsey, St Malo and Cherbourg France.
New Forest (20 km) Enjoy a day out in the New Forest with wild ponies and a traditional english cream tea.
Directions
Approaching Bournemouth from the a338, turn left by Asda and the train station (signposted for Town Centre East). This will lead you to a roundabout where you should turn right (third exit) onto Holdenhurst Road. After approximately 250 metres, you will come to the Lansdowne Roundabout, where you want to take the second exit (between the Roundhouse and Bournemouth College). In the small roundabout ahead, please turn right into Gervis Road. You will find the hotel on the left hand side.
